Reflect that the Legacy Lotus-Miner Markets sub-system is EOL #492
Comments
This PR moves the dynamic retrival pricing page under the Storage Provider section to the knowledge base as part of the #492.
As part of #492 Move Index Provider to kb: - Move the page to kb - and add areas: Deprecated - Add aliases - add full
Part of #492 Move Split-Markets page to kb: - Move the page to kb - and add areas: Deprecated - Move image to kb-folder for the split-markets page - Remove Split-Markets page from the setup/configuration page, requesting users to use Boost for markets related functions
Part of #492 Move Dagstore to kb: - Move the Dagstore page to kb - and add areas: Deprecated - Add aliases - Update relref path for Dagstore - Update area-keyword for index-provider. Had a typo making it depreciated - Remove dagstore-page from /storage-providers/operate/dagstore
Also the retrieval sections of the lotus tutorial, need to be updated to use boost? I can create a separate issue if you'd prefer. https://lotus.filecoin.io/tutorials/lotus/store-and-retrieve/retrieve-data/ |
Yes, that would be great! We should start redirecting our users to https://boost.filecoin.io/getting-started/boost-client. The depreciation on the client side will take a bit longer then on the storage provider side, so the markets code functionality will be around a bit longer, but best to guide our users to the relevant tools. Current depreciation plan looks like this: filecoin-project/lotus#10267 |
Part of #492 Move Split-Markets page to kb: - Move the page to kb - and add areas: Deprecated - Move image to kb-folder for the split-markets page - Remove Split-Markets link from the setup/configuration page
As part of the #492 - move the connectivity page to the knowledge base with notice to use Boost - Remove connectivity settings during setup, as no-markets lotus-miner nodes does not have networking.
Closing this tracking issue now. All legacy markets related pages has been set to |
