Feature: Allow merging folders in the conflict dialog

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Files currently supports solving conflicts with folders but not sub files

Requirements

• Add a "merge" option to the conflict dialog, this should be visible for folders
• If there are conflicts with the sub files, the conflict dialog should display again and allow the user to solve the new conflicts.

When windows explorer copies or moves a folder and finds that it one with the same name exists asks if you want to replace it. When goes in a subfolder that it has files that already exist in the target it asks again for the files if it want to be replaced. Your doesn't do that. If you select replace it replaces the folder and the files in the folder and in it's subfolder. I suggest to have different settings for files and folders. +1 from me. In Windows Explorer, when I paste a folder (with other files inside) that has the same name as an existing one, Windows asks if it should 'integrate' (in German, 'merge' I suppose in English) the new folder with the existing one. Files' popup asks if the folder should be skipped, replaced (which essentially integrates the new files inside if not already present in the existing folder), or if the new one should be renamed.
In terms of speed, the Windows variant is quicker: I can just hit enter to confirm the merging, and as @angaratosurion pointed out, if any files or sub-folders inside said folder are already present, it asks again about those (replace, rename, cancel). Files' dialogue always defaults to 'Create a new name', so I have to always go and pick 'Replace existing ones', either for this item or all forthcoming 'conflicts'. I have to do more to achieve the same, especially if only the folder has the same name, but doesn't have conflicting files or subfolders inside.

Hi, also hoping for a Merge feature. Rename, Replace, and Skip should not be the only options.

Hi, I also miss this option from Windows Explorer. If I paste a folder with the same name as the existing one, I am asked to skip, rename or replce the folder. If I choose replace, all the files inside that have the same name will be overritten, which is not what I want. I want to be asked again for the files if I want to overwrite or not those files, while just merging the outside folder.
I will go back to using Windows Explorer until this is implemented.
