[FR]: Play Games for PC support for Firestore, Database and AB Tests

Description

As part of the PC compatibility checklist for Play Games for PC, it is mentioned that Firestore, Realtime Database and AB Tests are not supported. Given these are the only packages preventing Firebase to be a one stop shop for also supporting Play Games for PC, are there any plans to add support? If so not, what is the reason this is not planned? Given in the Editor e.g. it also works? What are suggested workarounds?

are there any plans to add support?

At the moment there are no plans to work on adding support for those missing products to Google Play Games on PC. I'll leave this issue open, however, so that this request can be included in prioritization discussions.

Unfortunately, I cannot comment much as to the reasons, nor do I have much to say about that anyways. I can say that, at least for Firestore, there are some technical wrinkles to work out to make it appropriate for production Play Games on PC applications and that work simply hasn't been prioritized.

What are suggested workarounds?

There aren't any workarounds that come to mind.
