Question regarding best practices for viewing Smokeview files from parallel simulations

I am running FDS simulations in parallel across multiple meshes/processors. I want to ensure I am following the standard procedure for viewing the results in Smokeview to ensure all mesh data is being captured correctly.
Some questions I have are:

1. What is the standard procedure for opening a .smv file generated by a parallel run?

2. Do all the mesh-specific output files need to remain in a specific directory structure for Smokeview to load them simultaneously?

3. Are there specific namelist parameters (like TITLE or CHID) that are critical to ensure the parallel outputs are linked correctly in the final .smv file?

1. The loading for smokeview is the same as single mesh runs. For a case CHID.fds that you have run in parallel, in it's run directory (where the CHID.smv file sits) invoke:

smokeview CHID

2. Keep all results files in the same directory where the .smv file sits or in the results-dir directory within this directory that you defined in
   &DUMP RESULTS_DIR='results-dir'/
   So keep same structure you got from the run. See User Guide for the field RESULTS_DIR use.

3. All slice, csv, etc. results for the case will start with the CHID of your CHID.fds (case name you named your fds file with).
