[BUG] Will not launch. error: "No Flameshot translation found for C"

Description

Previously used regular 'flameshot' package on AUR. After getting the error below, switched to flameshot-git. Will not launch at all. Every invocation fails (except version, but you can see the error in there). Worked before update and has been a while since I updated so I was probably on the previous major version.

Perhaps my locale is set to C, not sure what the issue is though.

Ok, so running flameshot or flameshot gui on X11 hangs for approximately 30 seconds after startup, then fails to capture:

flameshot: error: The xdg-desktop-portal backend did not respond
flameshot: error: Unable to capture screen
flameshot: info: Screenshot aborted.

My system has xdg-desktop-portal and xdg-desktop-portal-gtk installed, but the GTK portal backend does not provide a working screenshot implementation for this X11 session. Flameshot should probably either fall back automatically to native X11 capture or report the problem without blocking for the portal timeout.

Adding the following workaround makes capture work:
