Here nearly the same as #43.
Compiling works, insmod not..
mcrose did not respond on Your question about using WMI battery control interface under Windows.
I don't have Windows available anymore, so can't say if this model works under windows.

sudo insmod acer-wmi-battery.ko
insmod: ERROR: could not insert module acer-wmi-battery.ko: Input/output error
