Inform homeassistant pac has rebooted.

I am trying to find a way to inform homeassistant when my atlantic pac reboots. The default setting for the pac after it reboots is auto and I would like it to be cool/ reduit. This can be set by a homeassistant automation but i need to be to know when it occurs. Is bsb aware of the reboots?

Are you talking about actual reboots (i.e. the heater remains powered but somehow reboots like when you tell a computer to reboot, but where power is continuously on)? Or rather turning the heater off and on again?
A software reboot could not be triggered at all because there are no specific telegrams transmitted during startup.
A power-cycle could be detected as it means that there is no incoming data during power-off But to distinguish this from a loose connection cable or something similar would be difficult.
If you don't want the default mode to be auto, I would either a) poll that parameter regularly and compare it with the value you want, or b) set the parameter regularly to "cool". Both ways would, of course, prevent any other change of that parameter, so this may not be feasible, unless you set another flag in Home Assistant that would enable/disable this function.
