I looked into this a bit more. It's a bit of a race condition on "who starts first". I need to re-work how the Inspect side handles disconnects and reconnects.

Fulcro Inspect just stopped connecting. Right click inside Fulcro Inspect tab is disabled. Nothing I do seems to bring it back.
Well that's awkward. We managed to solve this following instructions in the console :) Puzzling, however, that while my colleague's console showed the error with necessary steps to fix, mine haven't.

I'm guessing, the first of these is the intended behavior but may not be reliable.
Sometimes Inspect loses connection.
Right-clicking in the Inspect tab and choosing reload seems to fix it.
Probably a devtools-remote issue
