When you have multiple output devices — such as the monitor's audio output and speakers — whenever the monitor wakes from sleep, FX Sound automatically switches the current audio device back to the system default, which isn't necessarily the last one selected.
If the monitor's audio is set as default, switching to the speaker output works fine, but as soon as the monitor wakes from sleep, the output device reverts back to the monitor's audio on its own.
Pretty annoying :)

The selection of the output device should not change until the computer is shut down or put into sleep mode.
