Average Consumption Wh/mi not accurate

I have noticed the drives average consumption Wh/mi is not accurate. For one of my last drives it shows 115.1 Wh/mi but that is not even close to the almost 319 Wh/mi Teslamate showed for the same drive. Screenshots attached below, one for Teslamate Grafana and one for T-Buddy.

T-Buddy does not perform any calculation for the average consumption. The app only consumes the data provided by the TeslaMate API, so the value you see comes directly from TeslaMate.

That said, we can run a couple of checks to determine exactly where the discrepancy might be coming from. For this, we need to:

1. Identify the drive ID
2. Query the TeslaMate API using that ID and verify the value returned

Step 1: Get the Drive ID

In T-Buddy, open the trip details and go to the “Trip Route” section. There you will find a numeric field labeled “ID”, which corresponds to the drive ID.

Step 2: Query TeslaMate API

You can call the TeslaMate API directly from your browser, or using tools like curl or Postman if you are comfortable with them.

Use the following endpoint:

Once you get the response, look for the field:

consumption_net

After you retrieve this value, we can compare it with what T-Buddy displays and determine whether the issue originates from TeslaMate or elsewhere.
