Could this be borrowed from how DuckDuckGo integrates it into their browser extension? I don't know if this is the right source or not.

There are several arguments raised by one of the users. Pasting information here:

Can you update this case https://github.com/ghostery/ghostery-extension/issues/1470 to reflect the following:
(a) another user has requested this feature
(b) more US states' privacy laws have added support for GPC, so this is a growing need in the US market.
(c) Ghostery's private browser had this feature, but the browser was sunsetted, and this feature has not been re-implemented in your browser extension

Here is further justification for adding GPC support:
*  State Attorney Generals are explicitly telling users to install extensions that have GPC support:

*  Including how to videos:
https://oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa/gpc

Meaning that the US market will start to look at only browser extensions that have this feature.
