This seems like a natural need. We should use this thread to document all DNS items that would be affected with this move. As of now the only issue I am aware of would be the MX items related to the mail groups that HostGator runs.

Sounds good - also we need a way to make sure the passwords are secure while shareable for people to work on this.

I've been using CommonKey for this requirement across two teams. There's no "perfect solution," but it does the job.

For some reason this thread just popped up in my inbox again recently (think it was getting filed to my “later” folder before).

On passwords, I’ve been using CommonKey with two other projects and it works quite well: https://commonkey.com/ https://commonkey.com/

Longer term, the @hackshackers.com http://hackshackers.com/ e-mail should be migrated someone more manageable. Perhaps Google Apps for your Domain or what-have-you? I personally recommend Fastmail, yet I’m not sure if they have any special rates for non-profits. Worth researching.
