I'm not sure if I understand your question, so san you explain a little more what you're trying to accomplish? By default, if a note/file is in your Obsidian vault, it opens that file/note in Obsidian. It'll only open it in your default editor if the note/file isn't inside your Obsidian vault. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding your question?

I have the same issue.

After having set up the workflow and solving the "search vault not working" issue (#15 (comment)), I tried to search for a note in my vault by doing:

  1. opening Alfred entry window and typing "os" -> first result in list is "search within vaults (press enter to continue)"
  2. pressing "enter" -> entry window is cleared, one entry in list reading "search markdown files (search for ... + enter)"
  3. typing a string -> list shows files both within the vault as well as files outside the vault
  4. selecting a file from the list that is inside the vault + "enter" -> the file is opened in "iA Writer", not in Obsidian

Thanks,
Guy

Obsidian: 0.12.15
Alfred+Powerpack: 4.5.1
alfred-obsidian workflow: 0.3.7
macOS: 10.13.6, 11.6

Same here. Opening a note with the workflow opens it in Typora, not Obsidian, after correcting for the "os" bug.

Same issue here. I am a new user to this workflow. Is there any additional setup required to get it to open search results in Obsidian?

EDIT:

No longer have this issue after running oaddvault and selecting my vault.
