Describe the bug
No Chinese, or probably other double space characters shown in interface. Not reproduced in other GUI's, such as goneovim, FVim, neovide.

Steps to reproduce
load a file in Chinese or paste some Chinese into buffer. They show unrecognizable. (I can see the font works, which should show correctly.)

Your neoray config in init.vim (Only the part that concerns neoray!)
