I am looking for mango type query supoort? LIke: { "selector": { "year": { "$eq": 1988 } }}
If it is supported by py-couchdb, how to use it? If not, Will be supported in the future ?

You could use something like this:

mango_query_def = { "selector": { "year": { "$eq": 1988 } } }
resp, result = db.resource.post("_find", data=bytes(json.dumps(mango_query_def), encoding="utf-8"))
if resp.status_code == 200:
    docs = result["docs"]
    # ... process docs

However, I agree that it would be better if there were a wrapper class for this Mango query.

Maybe we should open a discussion on the library design for this feature. I could then try to submit a PR.
