delete_item key not working with selectItems()

#1511 (comment) introduced me to a script to get ctrl+{j,k} for row selection working, that also allowed to continue using F2 for editing.
This however ignores delete_item=del (set in copyq.conf) for deleting said item.

Is there a way around it?

Abovementioned script:

Detailed reproduction:

1. add the script from above to your copyq-commands.ini
2. toggle clipboard
3. filter items by searching for keyword
4. move the cursor by ctrl + {j,k} shortcuts as defined above
5. try to remove item by Del key (assuming you have delete_item=del set in your copyq.conf)

I tried adding remove override, similar to the F2 override from linked issue:

also unlinked the delete_item=del shortcut in copyq.conf, it now reads delete_item=, yet Del key still does nothing.

Ah I'm being silly here - Del can't work as per my intention due to search text input box being open, ie deletion is applied to the searched text, not the selected row.
The remove override command from above is still needed, but you'll need another shortcut, eg 13\Shortcut=ctrl+del
