A-shell no longer supports command + . as escape

On early version of the app, I was able to space using command+. as alternative to escape over virtual escape button. Now, with new version, I can’t use this combination. What was the reason that a-shell disable the combination?

Part of the answer for this one is similar to #1003: keyboard shortcuts don't work (yet) with SwiftTerm. But also I do not remember activating command+. as a keyboard shortcut, so I wonder whether that's a change in iOS 26.
