Running this on an NSPanel Pro 120 and Fdroid is not updating the app, so not the very latest version.
I have a dashboard with a need for a narrow font (to fit the NSPP display) and have chosen the Google font Fredoka with a variable axis of width. On MacOS in Safari or in the Companion app and also in i(Pad)OS, I can set the font width in a card to ultra-condensed (the narrowest) and it works, displaying the narrowest version (75%) of the font.
When this dashboard is viewed in the Android Companion app on the NSPP, although Fredoka font is used where it should be, it is NOT condensed or narrow at all. It's just the standard font. So the font-width setting is being ignored and this only occurs in the Android Companion app. Ergo, it's a problem with this app.
I'm not holding my breath that the updated app (when it arrives on Fdroid) will fix this, but has anyone else come across this problem?
