Hello Horde3D community.

I guess it was inevitable but http://horde3d.org/ stopped working, it looks like someone turned off or moved a computer somewhere? Does anyone reading this have access or know someone that has access to it?

Would it be possible to get a dump or backup of the forum and wiki to preserve that information?
It was very helpful running into problems and searching there, back when Horde3D was more popular and more people talking.

BTW looks like this was the last post there? I'm surprised it wasn't mine! xD

BlitzHorde is a Blitz3D userlib for Horde3D.

The project is still work in progress, some early previews and bootstrap demos:

We'll have to move to the github hosted site horde3d.github.io in https://github.com/horde3d/horde3d.github.io

Also, this repo has changes in dev branch that I think are useful, can we bring it forward into master, if it's okay with mods I can do this and check it in?

Started preparation for release 2.1.0, updating glfw, documentation and testing on various platforms.
Linux testing almost done (X11 works well), now cmake updates for Wayland. Next is mac testing, then windows. Android will probably be tested somehow, ios won't as I don't have the hardware.

As for horde3d site, it seems to be accessible from some countries, at least from Russia I can access both horde3d.org and forums. Tested on various vpn servers, should be accessible from Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Netherlands, USA. From Turkey and Croatia there is no access.

Thanks for the info, I can access it via TOR browser, I guess it's region locked until they figure out the issue with the forum.
Still, I wouldn't mind a html text dump to search locally, if it's possible. Maybe it's a sign to fully migrate to github?

Moving slowly, but still moving. Currently pushed to master:

Tested with gcc-13.2.0 SDL2-devel-2.32.10-mingw both i686 and x86_64 with GL2 and normal.
Linux mint 21.3 gcc 11.4.0 "cmake .." all worked fine too

It's strange that it would want to download SDL2, so I tried to turn it off:

Ok, I'll look into it. macos is running, only editor is left to test. Android is not yet tested.
Update: please try replacing the .zip release of sdl with tar.gz one. Judging by the errors it seems that it fails to download the sdl package. Probably the link for sdl was not updated for emscripten path.
Update2: please check that you are using the latest master commit. The file you are trying to download is wrong, currently FindSDL2.cmake downloads release-2.32.8/SDL2-2.32.8.tar.gz, and not 2.32.10 (there is no such release on libsdl github). So, please update to latest commit and check whether it fixes the issue.

The error from my last post... is from Emscripten web build, which I tested with the emscripten SDL test, a gradient color box, and that compiled and ran in the browser with no problems.
So it shouldn't be downloading SDL2 at all??

I tried debugging the cmake files, comparing my working old folder with the new, but without success.

If nobody else is having issues with current Emscripten (mine is 6.0.4 ), then I guess it's my setup.

@gwald Please search your files and find where "2.32.10" is used - this is the root of the problem. SDL does not have release 2.32.10, the last on github for version 2 is 2.32.8.

I found "2.32.10" here:

So then I figured it was a setup issue and I found out the error basically I didn't have this folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\SSL" I created it and it just worked!

Anyway, I think it would be safe to change to SDL 2.32.10, emscripten and mingw seem to have worked without issue.
