Two mouses interupt each other

Hello there!

I want to have a setup with a keyboard for mouse keys and a trackball for mouse movement. The issue is that when I try to hold mouse button (from keyboard) and move mouse (trackball), mouse button is getting unpressed. So I can't select text or drag-n-drop.

From what I understand, mouse movement events also go with button states, which are unpressed. This way? one device's mouse completely override another's.

Any suggestion of how to solve it?

This was not really a use case I ever thought of, it needs to bind/combine mouse reports from both sources before inserting in the queue, similar to what was recently done for keyboards. I'll try to see if I can recreate this with two mice somehow.

@IdSafy, I was able to reproduce this using two mice (one in the keyboard USB port, another in the mouse port). I have a fix that you can check on a fork here: https://github.com/mglushko/deskhop-extended
