Proposal of Visualizing Qualitative Data for Science and Education got funding for the 2019 GRC/VSE Visionary Grants</h2></div>
<p>The Proposal of Visualizing Qualitative Data for Science and Education aims on exploring the potential in
visualization of qualitative data and securing funding for larger programs and research, adapting approaches
from data visualization to enhance qualitative study and address challenges in <b>STEM</b> education learning.</p>
<p>The Visionary Grants is a longstanding tradition of the <a target="_blank"
href="https://www.grc.org/visualization-in-science-and-education-conference/2019/">Gordon Research Conference</a>. The Visionary Grant program is supported by a grant from <b>NASA</b> and is intended to provide "seed funding" to enable collaborative teams of researchers the
opportunity to develop a full research proposal for submission to appropriate grant
agencies. The project received approximately $10,000 to analyze the research trends visualization of
qualitative data and to explore potential methods for visualizing qualitative data.
