Use markdown in existing example project descriptions

**Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**
Some example projects have nice and detailed project descriptions. They were used before introducing markdown, therefore not leveraging rich text correctly.

**Describe the solution you'd like**
Look at them and add markdown where appropriate.
