Pricing and currencies

For simplicity I use the Demo system to describe the question. The Demo system was currently configured to use GBP as base currency.

Looking at the stock table for the 'Test Board 1' assembly there is a price range in the stock value column - but in US$. The actual value range seems to be the BoM pricing but from where is the currency picked?

Reason for the question is that in my production system the currency is SEK (=default) for some items and US$ for others - althoug all internal pricing is set in SEK. The values are the same but with different currencies and I can't figure out why and how to correct it. Opening the details for for the stock items does not show any values at all so that does not give any hints.
