Table row totals missing?

In the previous front end tables displayed totals for example consumed stock value for build orders, which was great. Wondering if it is a bug, removed feature or made into option somewhere that I have no idea about?

Have you selected Stock Value in the Colum settings?

Yes, it displays stock value for each item, but in previous version, it also displayed the added amount of each row in the bottom, as total. For purchase orders etc also, but now the bottom totals row is completely missing.

For POs you can see the total if you open the Order details tab

For BOs I think you are right - as for as I know there is no total. I have not missed it as I normally look at the BoM pricing for assemblys when I update prices.

Yes, but previously it was also as the last row of the table, which was very handy, so I guess this feature is removed or just not implemented yet?

If it was intentionally removed or not I do not know, I let the design team to comment on that.

@wwatu1337 this has not been ported across to the new UI, for multiple reasons:

• There is no good consistent way to add quantities together when they have different units. How do you add "300mm of wire" to "27 capacitors"?
• Tables are paginated - so you would only see the total quantity of the rows displayed, giving false numbers because non-displayed quantities are not accounted for.

I understand about the quantities, but for my use case it was an easy way to get the total cost of the consumed stock and not have to add them together manually. Same for purchase orders, I could see the total pricing in the same view.

Maybe add the consumed stock cost to build details, as it is for PO from previous screenshot?

This is a bit harder to calculate for a build order - in fact we have an outstanding issue around this: #7279
