Gearing up for 1.2.0 - You can help!

We are happy to announce that we are getting ready for putting the finishing touches on 1.2.0. There are currently 17 issues and 16 pull requests open.

What to expect

No large feature requests will be added to the milestone, some that are still open might be moved to 1.3. After all bugs are addressed and open PRs are merged or retargeted we will release a rc and a few days later the new feature release.

Breaking changes

There are 5 breaking changes tagged as of now.

These require changes:

• in your usage of the API (parameter endpoints, metadata endpoints, tag filters)
• in your plugin (moving to python 3.11 minimum)

Testing

Please try the "latest" or "master" daily builds and test your plugins. Reporting bugs/issues early helps us ease the burden associated with the release.

Translation

Now is a great time to submit translations and proofread them.

"plugin-creator" will be update for 1.2.0 version? i have my custom plugin for v1.1.7, need any fix or not?

We update the creator where appropriate;

It really depends on what functions your plugin imports, some things like PartParameter were moved so you will probably have to test and see if it brakes
