Ability to use without global install

Sometimes globally installing a module isn't possible, so being able to install as a dependency would be a better idea. However this currently suffers with relative path issues

Use npx serverless-offline-multi - that will either download the current version or use the locally installed dependency. I use it in your example script without a problem:

PORT=3000
DIRECTORYPORTPAIRS=""

for i in services/*/
do
      DIRECTORYPORTPAIRS="${DIRECTORYPORTPAIRS} --directory $i --port $PORT"
      ((++PORT))
done || exit 1

printf "\n%s\n" "Using command: ${DIRECTORYPORTPAIRS}"

npx serverless-offline-multi $DIRECTORYPORTPAIRS

(I use a different folder structure, so I just iterate over all folders in services/)

Isn't this a good solution or what would you like to see?

Interesting suggestion, hadn't considered using npx! I'd be curious if the paths to the internal modules were correct, but I assume they are as you mentioned you're using it.
