Windows 7 x64, FF 63, Invidioucious 0.9.8.4.

I open this webpage (as an example) and see it

  • as expected without extension,
  • quite distorted with extension on.

Temporary workaround is to use alternative — Invidition.

Sorry, unfortunately I have very little time at the moment.
Does this happen on all Russian sites?
It is a problem that I have seen before and it is hard to fix. Would it be helpful to you to have an option to disable redirect for embedded videos? Or some kind of whitelist for the pages that it doesn’t work on?
I’d love to do a real fix but I don’t think I will be able to do that any time soon. Sorry!

I was having a text encoding issue with some webpages and narrowed it down to the Invidioucious extension. Turning if off and reloading the page instantly fix the encoding issue.

Some examples:

Screen captures for the last 2 examples attached. Look at the accentuated characters (é) and the euro symbol (€).
ec-eau-logis_bad
ec-eau-logis_good
smoking_bad
smoking_good

In these examples, it seems the text encoding is modified by Invidioucious (and there's not even a Youtube video there). The meta tag says iso-8859-1 for all of them. Maybe it's a lead to a fix?
