  • Usecase:
    • Quick exchange PM, Dev, UX
    • Communication-Aid in positioning elements, clarifying relations, can/should be be “symbolic” (sketchy, box with MENU in it, pasted screenshot)
    • Moving away from text based, non visual communication and documentation of it
    • Competition: Paper, which is used without specifying detail works very quickly.
      • Most important:
        • "Pen and paper for remote work"
        • easier to alter, particularly in case you want to swap element
      • Possible extensions
        • attach feedback, comments, arrows… (however, this might be too much in a full fledged application)
        • Possibly: generate a boilerplat-y version to work in the next tool (however, this might be too much in a full fledged application)
    • Competition: Balsamiq
      • Is a more complex application
      • "Imperative": Drag, Draw, settings in the sidebar…
    • Competition: Whimsical

Possible Results

  • Drag Widgets but draw containers (as minimal amount of elements that have most useful constraints)
    • Both can be decorated with border, background…
  • "Auto-reflows" (which paper does not have)
    • Heuristics for swapping element positions
    • Push things most right or most top etc.
  • Chat integration (e.g. Mattermost)
