Maybe not, my console doesn't report errors or other messages

Nope.

I encounted it bugging out, but I was able to make it work just by re-toggling all the settings back and forth.

1. Re-toggle from Gapless to Crossfade
2. Re-toggle Use web audio to off
3. Drag the crossfade duration slider
4. Change the crossfade style to a random one

I'm unlikely to spend any more time debugging this, so just try to make it work with the steps above.
