delete/backspace problem on linux

on linux

after input ‘123456789’ and then press delete or backspace, i got '1234567$<3$<3$<3>'

• your OS / environment
• the kind of jline terminal you're using
• the output of infocmp and echo $TERM on unix or windows/unix env (gygwin, mingw...)
