Currently, if you edit an event, the changes to the event are saved back to the event post.

However, the event post doesn't offer any visibility into that data and doesn't save changes back to the event itself.

For long-term dev, it would be good if you could edit event details from within the post. This would be a step towards some future new UI that uses the post interface.
