Element Desktop fails to find a supported backend for the keyring

Brief Summary

While I can't pinpoint what exact set of updates caused this to occur, as I rebooted today I couldn't open Element Desktop without hitting an error while accessing the keyring. See attached image for the error. It seems like something has changed in how Electron accesses the keyring database.

I found some helpful issues on flathub's repo and Riot.im's repo:

• Broken encryption after updating to 1.11.103 flathub/im.riot.Riot#528
• Add secret access, as the safeStorage api is now used flathub/im.riot.Riot#530
• SafeStorage is not available on Debian / XFCE element-hq/element-web#32416

which led me to attempt to run element-desktop --password-store="gnome-libsecret" once on the shell, and it seems to have worked just fine. I suspect this is the correct approach, but I would like to confirm this is the case, and ask whether there is something missing on our end to have it find the backend automatically.

Steps to Reproduce

I am not sure what steps are required to reproduce the issue. I mostly reported it to document how I fixed the issue on my end.

Have absolutely no idea what occurred, but it certainly wasn't with our application. Looks like someone flubbed an update elsewhere.

Thanks, good to know. I wasn't sure how KeepassXC is linked to libsecret, which I imagine is in some regard part of the broken chain. Might perfectly well be an issue on my end too.
