local environment

I just forked this repo, and run it in my local env hugo server -t hello-friend-ng
but I have an issue with my local, it doesn't display blog posts
am I missing something ? this is my first time using hugo

maybe this repo need step by step how to run this locally ?

We run into opposite but similar situation in the past (the blank page happened on the published version instead of local). I need to look into this further. Thanks for reporting.
