Remember Pickup location

Just a little request, can you make it so it remembers my preferred branch for hold pickups? I forsee accidentally held items at the wrong branch since it defaults to the first on the list every time (Athens). It's also a tiny bit tedious to scroll down through the many many locatons to find mine every time I want to check out a book.

That is a fine request and well motivated. Let me tell you how you can change the default pickup location, while I think about whether or not to implement this as requested. To change your default pickup location:

• go to My Account - https://gapines.org/eg/opac/myopac/main
• click the Account Preferences tab - https://gapines.org/eg/opac/myopac/prefs
• click the Search and History Preferences tab - https://gapines.org/eg/opac/myopac/prefs_settings
• change the settings and Save
• logout from the app (3-dot menu on the upper right of home screen )
• login

I have thought about this before and I think I can do what you ask, but it will take some extra work to save the setting back to GAPINES. What I didn't want to do was to let the app setting get out of sync with the catalog setting. So the app loads the Search and Pickup defaults every time you login.
