We have a potential partner who is deploying IIAB-based images and would like to showcase its content. Is there a way for them to upload the image somewhere, and/or for us to deploy it for testing much like we already do at demo.hotspot.kiwix.org ?

Those are two different issues.

  • On the upload thing, we could setup something but we have no service doing it with user-dedicated permission.
  • On the demo, it's not possible as our demo is now docker-based and not qemu-based (who require a lot of work to do)

As discussed on Slack, it seems to make more sense to simply order the device. It would be useful to test everything as intended. If we need to share the image internally, you or @benoit74 can extract the image from the SD card and upload it to our drive.
