network policy for serverless functions with istio sidecar #2220
Description
Changes are needed to the network policy for functions.
The Isto team plans to enable the deny-all network policy in the istio-system namespace. After that, Istio sidecars in functions will likely stop working.
We need tests for functions with istio sidecar and istio-system with deny-all network policy.
Discuss it with goat team who is responsible to provide network-policy for istio sidecar and how to do it.
