Feature Request: Expose Langflow Workflows as MCPO Servers in Addition to MCP

Hi Langflow team

I'd like to propose a new feature that could greatly enhance Langflow's interoperability with other tools in the open-source AI ecosystem.

Feature Request
In addition to exposing workflows as MCP servers (which Langflow currently supports), it would be incredibly useful to also expose workflows as MCPO servers, following the specification defined in the MCPO project.

Why MCPO?
MCPO (Multi-Component Prompt Orchestrator) is gaining adoption thanks to its clean interface for interacting with LLM workflows, especially with tools like Open WebUI that use the MCPO protocol to connect to external providers.

Supporting MCPO would allow Langflow workflows to be used directly in these emerging tools without extra wrapping or translation layers.

Possible Implementation Ideas

• Add an MCPO-compatible server mode alongside the existing MCP one.
• Define an interface or adapter to map Langflow nodes and execution patterns to MCPO schema expectations.
• Optionally allow users to export or configure endpoints with a toggle between MCP and MCPO.

Benefits

• Increased compatibility with Open WebUI and similar tools
• Better integration in the open LLM ecosystem
• Opens the door to broader Langflow usage beyond its own UI
