Thanks a lot for this awesome project!
I think it would be great to sort of combine both projects together. A bit like MakeCode, where you have the choice of starting w/ code blocks, then the possibility to peek at the equivalent JS code, and then, scale by switching to full JS mode. MakeCode is impressive at first glance, because it boasts bi-directional code sync. From blocks -> JS, but vice-versa as well. The feature is impressive, but not robust enough to use it "in production".
Is there such an initiative? To combine the projects? I searched a bit the Internet, w/o finding. But maybe such an initiative exists somewhere.
If not, it seems like an interesting challenge that I'd maybe take. I looked a bit at the code of Scratch. It seems reasonable. The license is not a blocker.
