Talos 1.14.2 + Kubernetes 1.37.1 + Cilium 1.20.2: Linkerd release compatibility and CNI requirements

We are evaluating Linkerd on a single-node development cluster:

Talos Linux 1.14.2
Kubernetes 1.37.1
Cilium 1.20.2
kube-proxy replacement enabled, VXLAN routing, socketLB disabled
We have not installed Linkerd on this cluster.

Which exact Linkerd Edge release, if any, is tested with Kubernetes 1.37?
Is Linkerd CNI on this Talos/Cilium combination known to work? Is there a current installation example?
Does the current CNI image supply the namespace-entry utilities it needs, or is a Talos system extension required?
Beyond cni.exclusive=false, are additional Cilium settings needed?
Please distinguish community-tested compatibility from commercially supported configurations and link relevant documentation or tests.
