What would you say is one of the biggest features that’s not available or not as good as this new encryption service that you’ve created is it Speed is it reliability, ease-of-use. I’m just curious because I’m looking at incorporating encryption into an app that I’m in the process of laying the foundation.

One of the main reasons I built Encryptor was because I found a lot of existing encryption tools either overly complex, bloated with unnecessary features, or required online access. What I wanted was something:
• Simple and minimal: Just pick a file or type some text, set a password, and encrypt/decrypt—nothing more.
• Fully offline: No servers, no background connections. Everything stays on your device.
• Open source: So anyone can inspect the code and trust what it does.

I wouldn’t say it beats professional solutions in terms of advanced features, but for small projects, personal use, or apps that just need lightweight local encryption—it’s fast, reliable, and very easy to plug in.

So yeah, I’d say ease-of-use + offline privacy were the biggest motivators. If your app needs something quick and minimal, it might fit well.
