How do I change timeout programmatically ?

How do I change timeout programmatically ? It's hardcoded to 5 seconds for some reason.

And what's the meaning of this timeout ? Is it time within which I should materialize and complete consumption of resulting akka Source ? What if I process it for hours ?

At present, you can change timeout by setting streamadapter.timeout in your application.conf file. That's a Typesafe config thing.

For StreamAdapter[akka.stream.scaladsl.Source, _], the timeout controls how long the Akka source to produce 10 elements.
