About pixel value range in "ycrcb_to_rgb" function

Excuse me, I wanna know that which image you're referring to where you mention that "Image data is assumed to be in the range of [0.0, 1.0]" in file ycbcr.py (line 148) , RGB image or YCrCb image?

By the way, I would like to ask if the pixel range of the RGB and YCrCb formats is the same? and if I take a rgb_to_ycrcb transformation now, how can I normalize the ycrcb image into the range of [-1, 1]?
