Empty folder view on restart #289
Comments
Perhaps this is #288, but it is closed so I did not see it on default github view of issues; will try those instructions now. |
If I want to completely delete everything to start cog from a blank slate, where are the preferences kept? |

I have updated the player to correctly ask for permission for the File Tree folder the first time it is configured, rather than waiting for the grant access dialog to be opened manually. This should make it work the first time the path is set (permission granted to app by the file browser), and subsequently when the player is restarted. (permission granted by the "Grant access" dialog.) |
The update should be live now. (App Store pending.) |
I meant how do I truly remove any trace of Cog. I don't understand what is going on with the empty folder pane, and want to do a fresh install. When I uninstall via brew, there's still files such as:
and even when I delete all of those and go into preferences, I still see my global hotkeys are configured, so I'm wondering if things are sticking around. |
I'll delete the File Tree, then. |
Which is why I've removed that control. Now you absolutely have to use the normal file browser dialogs. |
Select your folder again manually with the provided button. |
When closed and restarted, the view to the folders (from which to add or set playlist) is empty. cog: 2455,03a2c0c1
