This seems like a very interesting project, but I do not know how to install or run this project. Adding a Quick Start to the documentation would help users like me use this tool. Thanks for putting this tool out there.

You could download the exe file(for windows) or dmg file (for macos) from https://github.com/lsk569937453/git-statistic/releases.And then you could install git-statistic in your computer.

I just tried the dmg and I got this error: “git-statistic” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image. I'm running MacOS Sonoma

Have you tried the git-statistic_0.0.7_aarch64.dmg or git-statistic_0.0.7_x64.dmg?

Hmm, I didn't even notice there were two versions. But this is strange (unless I'm too tired right now to think straight). I have a M3 Air. I initially installed the aarch64 one, which gave me the error. Just a few minutes ago I installed the x64 one and it's working great. Shouldn't the AArch64 one be the correct version for my machine?

If a Tauri project relies on third-party native libraries (e.g., .dylib or .a files written in C/C++), and these libraries are not compiled for the ARM64 architecture, the AArch64 build will crash due to incompatible binary formats.
However, when running the x86_64 version, Rosetta 2 (Apple's compatibility layer) automatically translates x86-64 instructions to ARM, allowing the app to run despite the dependency mismatch. This translation process might inadvertently bypass the architecture-specific issues in the native libraries.
