When combined with --list, --radiolist and --checklist produce hard to see checkboxes

Compare qarma with zenity:

qarma --list --checklist --column="" --column="Foo" "" "Bar" "TRUE" "Baz"

With zenity, the width of the first column matches the width of the checkbox and checkboxes are easily visible.
With qarma, the first column is twice the width of the checkbox, and checkboxes are hard to see (I use a dark theme in Linux).

Do you have a screenshot?
Can you manually shrink the checkbox column ?

(I'm afraid this is all driven by the style plugin - looks reasonable w/ virtualiy)

Same GUI with QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=Fusion. No idea how to check which style plugin it is.

But if the variable has no impact you'd be using fusion.
The visible box is likely the current item indicator (I can probably set the current item invalid and hide that, but that will not shrink the column), but the oversized column and unfortunate coloring are the style (and your color scheme) and the only thing I could do about that would be to override style and colors in qarma - which is likely undesired and I'd not do for principle reasons.
