Is it possible to compile with an earlier version of LVGL?

Hello, I'm new to development with ESP32S3 running micropython with LVGL.
I found an earlier version of micropython firmware v1.19.1 that's with LVGL v9.0.0 and had some problem with it (it can't run .mpy file properly for reasons I don't know).
So I try to compile a firmware with this depo and found it's with LVGL v9.2.2, some of my earlier code couldn't run on it.

Is it possible to compile with earlier version of LVGL with this depo?

it is not backwards compatible to 9.0
