Facebook no soporta más XMPP?

In https://developers.facebook.com/docs/chat/ it says that "The Chat/XMPP service and API, located at chat.facebook.com, will not be available once 1.0 is deprecated". After reading https://developers.facebook.com/docs/chat/ I understand that 1.0 is deprecated now. I was wondering whether there a workaround for this issue or it will be no longer possible to connect to Facebook with chatbot.
