Core2 v1.1+ Stepmotor Driver Module 13.2 v1.1 — Power Supply & Startup Issues #338

Hello,
I'm currently working on a project using M5Stack Core2 and the Stepmotor Driver Module 13.2 v1.1. I’ve encountered two major issues:
Issue 1: Power Supply Failure on One Module
I have two modules, and one seems to be defective. Even when 12V is supplied via the DC-IN or HV terminal, there is no voltage output at HV terminals, and the motor does not receive any power.
Issue 2: Core2 does not boot when stacked
When I stack the other (working) module and only power Core2 via USB (without external 12V), Core2 fails to boot or turn on. It works normally without the module, or when the module is externally powered.
What I’ve tried:
- Verified stepper motor wiring and current potentiometer position
- Verified GPIO pin mapping (X-axis: DIR=GPIO14, STEP=GPIO13)
Request:
- Is there an official power flow schematic or known compatibility issue between Core2 and this module?
- What is the recommended power connection order when using Core2 + Stepmotor Driver Module?
