After updating magit I get a forge error stating the directory or file "forge-forgejo" can't be opened.

When I load emacs I expect no pkg error, but after updating magit, it
produces a forge error such that I can't load magit at point anymore on my project.
It also said ghub isn't update and that it requires ghub 2.4.1.

Have you tried restart Emacs yet? If not, do so now.

It also said ghub isn't update and that it requires ghub 2.4.1.

Who is "it"? I assume some package manager. use-package is not a package manager. package.el, straight and elpaca are some of the package managers you might be using.

Do you use Melpa? If so, update ghub to the latest snapshot available from there. Restart Emacs after doing so.

I had this issue with elpaca and an Emacs restart did not help, I fixed it by removing ~/.emacs.d/elpaca/builds/forge and for good measure ~/.emacs.d/elpaca/cache/forge, upon Emacs restart it built again and all was well. Just adjust location if using a different package manager.
