on Ubuntu on WSL2 I had to add the following

# 1. Ensure the runtime directory exists and has strict permissions
sudo mkdir -p /run/user/$(id -u)
sudo chown $USER:$USER /run/user/$(id -u)
chmod 700 /run/user/$(id -u)

# 2. Export the variable to your current session
export XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/run/user/$(id -u)

# 3. Try running the app again
flatpak --user run org.flamerobin.FlameRobin

It works, but this flatpak seems over-engineered, aren't there unnecessary deps... etc. 🧐 ?
Furthermore, there is no reference to the app in the application menu.
